Hello!
One of the real pleasures of travel and migration is “food”.
Today, I will introduce the gourmet of Qatar’s old town “Al sadd”.
Al Sadd is also famous for its soccer club team, and the current manager is Juan Manuel Lillo, who was also the manager of real sociedad.
Al-Sad like that. In fact, gourmet is also substantial.
I’m sure many locals know about these shops, but if you’re visiting Qatar for the first time, there are some places that you might not notice, so I hope you’ll find them helpful.
Let’s take a look!
*Click the store name to go to Google Maps.
If you say “lamb chops” in Qatar, this is it! !
Anyone who lives in Qatar will say that this place is No.1.
A plate of lamb chops, khob (flat bread), french fries and herbs cost 40 QAR.
It seems that the mainstream is to cut the lamb meat into bite-size pieces using a knife and fork, sprinkle it on torn hobs, and eat it with herbs.
It doesn’t have the peculiar smell of lamb meat at all, it’s very soft, and the moment you bite into it, the meat juice spreads in your mouth.
It’s just a moment of bliss!
This alone will fill you up.
Parallel parking is available in front of the store, but there are too many parking spaces during lunch and dinner hours.
So, even if it’s a little further away, it might be better to park the car if it’s vacant and then walk.
If you want to have “Italian” in Al Sadd, this is the place!
Pasta, pizza, risotto, and desserts all have authentic flavors.
The price is about 50-80 QAR.
Also, the amount of each item is not large, but every dish is excellent.
The atmosphere inside the store is also very good, and it is also recommended for dates and special occasions.
Parallel parking is now available on the road along the store.
If you can’t park in front of the store, there is valet parking along the store, so please park somewhere vacant and leave the key with the manager along the road. (There is no manager at night)
If you go to “Yakiniku” in Qatar, I recommend this place.
There are no hormones or tongue, but you can enjoy tsubo-kalbi marinated in sauce and fatty chicken.
The price is about 150-200 QAR.
Above are course prices. It’s a little more expensive, but it comes with 2 types of yakiniku, 5 types of small bowls (free refills), Fusion sushi, white rice, and dessert.
I was very satisfied, but if you don’t have enough, you can order separately.
The parking lot is along the same road as “2 Lo Spaghetto”. If you can’t park in the parking lot along the front, you can park your car in the back road.
It has a name like Japanese food, but it is a “Korean food” restaurant.
You can enjoy the taste of authentic Korean cuisine such as sundubu jjigae, bulgogi, bibimbap, and pancakes.
The price is about 20 to 40 QAR per item.
The menu is very cheap, the taste is of course very delicious, and one or two items will fill you up.
My recommendation is “garlic chicken”.
Although it is fried chicken, the spicy garlic is entwined with the sweet and spicy sauce, making you want white rice.
The best fried chicken I ate in Qatar.
The shop is located diagonally in front of “3 Yee Hwa”.
There is a parking lot in front of the store, but please be careful as it is a very busy street.
Qatari fast food is shawarma.
It is made by scraping off charcoal-grilled meat and wrapping it in thin-skinned naan.
If you want to eat shawarma, this is the place.
The price is 10-20 QAR.
At this price, your stomach will be satisfied! The meat is chicken, but the flavor of the charcoal-grilled chicken fills your mouth.
Takeaway is also available, so it’s perfect for when you want to eat quickly.
There is a parking lot, but there are many cars on this street all day long, and the parking lot is often empty.
It may be one way to park at a nearby mall and walk.
Please come and enjoy the taste of Qatar gourmet.
We hope that you will feel a little happier through our meals in Qatar.
I would also like to introduce restaurants in other areas.
Thank you for watching until the end today!
